Day 201: Life...Get Used to It

I heard it once said, “Don’t complain about what you permit.” It took me back a little but, I soon began to think about how true this statement is. Whether someone says, I do not have enough money or my job stinks, my life stinks, I am always down in the dumps, it can usually be traced back to the words, “Don’t complain about what you permit.”

If life is always boring and dull…then do something that will change it! In the words of Rocky Balboa, "if you know what you're worth, than go out and get what you're worth!"

Life is so much bigger then being wrapped up in little problems day in and day out. You have people that are always pulling you down? Take care of yourself and leave the situation.

I could quote endless scripture about how we should praise the Lord, and having the words of praise on our lips. We, as Christians, have so much to be thankful about and though I understand we face hardships, shouldn’t it be we can count our blessings and let that be the spring in our step?

Fact is, so many who are chronically depressed or feel they have all the problems in the world basically make that a part of their lives. They have made their hang ups a part of life that even if they say they want it gone, do they honestly mean that? Would in fact that person be lost without those things in their life? I just wonder if they feel they need to carry the load?

Here is what I suggest, do as David did and put words of praise on your lips. When we begin to focus on God we realize how much bigger life is then our problems. When we constantly gather with Christians and always have problems, I for one tend to think, “Are you complaining about something you permit?” If it is something you can fix, then with Gods help DO SOMETHING ABOUT!
