Day 145: Time to Grow

There is a verse in the bible that talks about “as iron sharpens iron, so one man’s sharpens another.” This is very true and beneficial for me this weekend. I do not consider myself a golfer by any means. In fact this year I got out once, the year before I got to play a few times. One thing that remains true for me is that when I am playing someone that is good…my game gets better. If I am playing with someone that does not play well…my game becomes a joke.

I find the same to be true in ministry. This weekend I have the privilege of hanging out with my friend, Darin Hufford of the “Free Believers Network.” We got to know each other via facebook and after reading his book “The Misunderstood God” I thought this was a guy I want to speak at Radiant Fellowship.

It is important to surround yourself with people that will challenge you and make you a better person. I look forward to sharing more about our visit in weeks to come.
