Day 139: Volunteers

Last night, I had the privilege of honoring close to 40 volunteers that help make Radiant Fellowship a great church. This was the first time that our church has ever done a volunteer appreciation banquet. Needless to say "it was a great time."

We met at a great restaurant in town where they setup their banquet hall for us and catered some fantastic food. I asked Rev. Larry Liebe to speak as he (in my opinion) really knows how to work well with volunteers. The night was so refreshing and I remain quite confident that we will do something like this each year.

It is important that we take time to recognize our volunteers at our churches because it is them that are the glue that holds the church together.
