Day 61: Cornerstone Update 7 of 9 A Night With the WIERD ONES!
I would like to dedicate this blog to the Star Trek character............7 of 9
So last night was pretty epic! It began with the community gathering at the mainstage on the Cornerstone grounds. When we were done meeting new friends from Indiana in this contemplative service we made our way over to see the Crossing for a little bit. To not see the Crossing at Cornerstone would be like going to Six Flags Great America and not going on a rollercoaster.
Because the Crossing was late to go on we could only take in a half hour or so and we were off once again. I brought my wife to her first ever Living Sacrifice concert which was AMAZING! I have a t-shirt to prove it. When we arrived to the HM tent we were standing around shooting the breeze. We were suddenly joined by my new friends in the group Grave Robbers. These guys are so great! While I was at this concert I began to think about maybe in the spring to put together an all-out hardcore Christian concert in Waupaca. I think it would be really good and the youth director would probably dig it.
Cornerstone has such a great way of inspiring thoughts....probably because it is totally focused in on all of the arts.
I will have pics up later of me with Grave Robber.
