Day 81: Diversity in Church

This morning during our staff meeting I made the comment that Radiant Fellowship needs more diversity. We all know that is somewhat of a joke in Waupaca given the demographic of the area. However, it made me miss my days of youth pastoring in an area where it was Caucasian and Hispanic. You have not experienced a potluck dinner until your church has cultural diversity.

In my opinion you cannot make this kind of thing just happen, it has to be a natural thing. For churches in a more Caucasian area, diversity can still happen through the different types of people that attend. I am glad that Radiant Fellowship has people from all political and social standing areas. In the past few months we have had people living in alternative lifestyles attending and finding rest at Radiant Fellowship. I am so excited about what God is doing through this fellowship of believers.

Though we don’t have the cultural diversity, we sure have other types of diversity and I praise God everyday we have a place to go and love each other and love God.
